It's not Spanish, it's French misspelled. Dépeche mode ("urgent fashion, fast, light" was the name of a women's fashion magazine, which served as inspiration for christening the English pop band Depeche Mode.

DEPECHE MODE British band of enormous success that was formed in Essex, in 1980. Its name comes from the word Fráncés dép'cher hurry and mode mode, that is, fast mode. But it can also be from the noun dép-che which means communiqué .
